It uses a rare earth magnet to draw less electricity and produce less heat. The JAM-30 is top of its class pulling 0.60 amps to produce 30 L.P.M (Liters Per Minute). It's built using high-quality full copper coil windings, unlike some other manufacturers' units. Over two years were spent studying EPDM for the diagrams so that they will last years under the designed operating pressure.
An included benefit of Ater Pumps is that new aerators come with an extra set of diaphragms so when the unit does go down, you have the parts to fix it.
